WOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.......

I got myself a new digital camera. I ordered it on thursday last week and it arrived on monday.

it is such an improvement on my old one, but I guess it should as my old one is nearly 6 years old (and it cost more to buy and is far inferior)

I bought a Fujifilm S5700  (reviews) for only £106 with free P&P, which is awesome as most places on the net were selling them for around £120 plus P&P. It is a birthday soon, so my wife said it is a present from her, but I have had it early, my excuse being that I need to get used to it before we visit her sister (who is about to have her baby), so I can take some decent pictures.

So, I may well be posting some snaps on here, probably boring ones, so watch this space!!!!

Testerday reminded me of all the bad things about tblog.

I could not get into my blog, the page would not load, and even once it did, when I tried to to access my account, it just hung there for ages before crashing.

In the early days of tblog, there were many bugs, but rocky and nickster were always around to try and remedy the issues.

But one of the biggest and most frustrating bugs that it had was the editor. How many people used to complain of writing their posts in the tblog editor, only to find that when they went to publish, it would crash, and all their hard work was for nothing.

I had that, and quickly learnt to do my posts on word first, then cop & paste.

I have noticed that neither rocky or nickster are never available now, and I heard that they are trying to sell tblog. To me, it would still seem logical to maintain tblog and provide the support the users need, as I dare say tblogs popularity is some of the reason for them trying to sell it, and if they fail to provide support then the rats will jump ship and tblog will become the Marie Celeste of weblog hosts.

Last we I left  a comment on Mr Squirrels blog (i think) with regards to ID cards. There must be some political  issues in America regarding some candidate and his opinion on ID cards.

My comment did then produce a few replies, and not just from Mr Squirrel, so it must be a bit of a touchy subject in America.

Over here in Britain, there has been several ebates about in Parliament as the current Government are keen to have ID cards.

My personal feelings are is that I am happy with the idea. I would not find it an infringement of my civil liberties, and intrustion of my privacy or anything like that. The idea that someone would be monitoring me and my life does not bother me, and also i cannot believe for one instance that they would continually monitor my actions, as I would think they would be more inclined to do that on people they might even vaguely suspect as doing something wrong.

Some say it opens another door to identy fraud. Well, there is enough of that going on in the world anyway, plus, I think that an ID card would make it more difficult for people to de-fraud you or steal your identity.

It is a pain in the ass having to shred or dipose of correctly all our statements and even anything with our addresses on it, but and ID card would help to clarify your identity at banks and other companies where proof of identity is crucial.

And what if you lose it? You would obviously keep it secure like you do your drivers licence and passport, but I would imagine that each card would have a unique number, and once you reported it missing, the ID card would be cancelled and a new one with a new number issued.

SO WHATS THE F@@@ING PROBLEM UNLESS YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO HIDE OR YOU'RE A CIVIL LIBERTY PERSON

My wife works at a company that manufactures Surface Mount PCB's, and 2 weeks ago they said they would be making between 5 and 10 people redundant.

She will find out either today or tomorrow as to who will be going, and she may well be one of them

She is classed as part-time, even though she works 6 hours a day, 5 days a week, and has been there for 3 years. She also has an arrangement with them that she only works term time, so we dont have to have someone look after her daughter when school is out.

It will be a real bummer if she is laid off, and I just hope because of the nature of her employment (as above) she is not singled out for the boot, as it will be a real blow for her and us, especially as Christmas is looming, and we have an extra person to look after (her niece, tasha).

Everthing i have 2 off is crossed, in the hope she is safe (funny, my voice has gone higher....lmao)

Ona previous post. I mentioned I was going to hopefully run 3 blogs.

1st blog, is this one, which as you know is up and running and reasonably updated.

2nd blog, is my wordpress blog which is my little project based around the history of Great Britain, which is up and running but is only updated occaisionally.

3rd blog, was supposed to be on blogdrive and was going to be based on self shooters (women who take pictures of themselves.

The 3rd blog has been abandoned, due to the fact that I could never be sure that it would not be banned. To this end, I have found a weblog host which is adult based, (it is in fact a sister site of wordpress), and is now up and running.

It is a site where the NAUGHTY side of me can come out. It will be based on amatures and self shooters, everyday women who like pictures being taken of them or like to take pictures of themselves. The format I have devised is to post 1 picture of them, then to set a link to the remaining set. It is NOT work safe, there is nudity, but there is also NO hardcore pornography.

I have set a link in this blog for it, which is on the right called raggedtieruk - adult site. Only go there if you are not offended by sexiness and partial nudity!

I mentioned in a previous post that I had started to build a small retaining wall in my garden. I dod not say much about it as I deemed it too boring.

However ARRRR JIM LAD PIRATE GIRL did think it was interesting, and I said to her I might take some pictures of it and post them on here.

It is my first attempt at bricklaying, but I have tried to do it as best as possible, so hopefully, tomorrow, I will take some pics as it is and some when I finish it, which I hope will be this weekend, as long as my wife gives me the time to do it!!!
